Swirls are caused by pieces of dirt and dust that are rubbed over the car's paint during washing, the Grit Guard helps prevent this. The Grit Guard (diameter 264mm) can simply be placed on the bottom of the bucket. Every time you run your Wash Mitt through the bucket for more suds, rub it against the Grit Guard as well. This helps to remove the dirt and, in addition, the Grit Guard ensures that the dirt remains at the bottom of the bucket.
