- Car seat group 2: for children from 15 to 25 kg (33-55 lb), in the age category 3 to 6 years
- Car seat group 2/3: for children from 15 to 36 kg (33-80 lb), in the age category 4 to 12 years
- Car seat group 3: for children from 22 to 36 kg (48-80 lb), in the age category 4 to 12 years
- Car seat group 1/2/3: for children from 9 to 36 kg (20-80), in the age category 9 months to 12 years
The seats in group 0 are baby car seats. They are therefore installed backwards in the car. Your child will sit with its back to the travel direction. Do you want to place your child in the front seat? This is only allowed if there is no airbag in the dashboard, or the airbag has to be turned off.
Car seat Isofix
A term that is often used with child seats is Isofix. Isofix car seats are safer and easier to install than child seats that need to be attached with the seatbelt. Isofix ensures that your child can be transported in a safer way. Isofix is an internationally standardized system for the attachment of car seats. Many new cars have special Isofix mounting points.
