Tinting the headlights is not a difficult job and you can easily do it yourself. For this you can observe the following steps.
1. Cut out the headlight film with a utility knife. Make sure to cut out the foil generously to leave a little extra space.
2. Thoroughly clean the surface to be covered with a car shampoo and a microfibre cloth. You want to prevent dirt from getting under the headlight film.
3. Spray the surface with water.
4. Remove the protective layer from the adhesive side of the headlight film.
5. Stick the headlamp film on the surface as tightly as possible. Make sure to proceed carefully here so that the foil can be applied as tightly as possible.
6. Now remove the protective layer from the top of the headlight film tint. You can now carefully smooth out the headlight film.
7. By heating the foil with a hair dryer you can give it the right shape. Keep in mind that you keep the hair dryer at least 25 cm from the surface to prevent burning or melting of the foil.
8. Smooth out the headlight film again.
9. When the foil has been placed as desired, the remaining foil around the headlight or taillight can be cut away with a knife.
