Which wheel trims?

Also, you need to check whether the caps fit on your rims at all. Does your car have black or grey steel rims? Then you can easily place hub caps on them. However, does your car have alloy wheels? Then you cannot place wheel covers on them.
Next, you will have to look at the inch size of your rims. You can find the inch size on the side of your car tyres. On the tyre is a code such as 180/50 R15. Placing wheel trims
Placing wheel trims is very easy. In most cases, you can easily click the car trims on the car rims. The wheel trims have mounting clips, which you can press in the wheel. Do you hear a click? Then the car trims are stuck. However, there are also hub caps that must be mounted using a ring. You place this in the wheel cover. Then place the hub cap with the valve recess on the rims. Hubcaps vs. wheel trims
Although we use both words interchangeably, there is in fact a difference. The difference between a wheel trim and a hubcap is how much of the wheel’s surface they actually cover. A wheel trim is basically an accessory that covers the entire diameter of the wheel rim. The hubcap only covers the center portion of the rim, concealing the lug nuts only.
