1. Remove dirt and grease from the wheel bolts and around them. To properly clean the wheel bolt, you can use wheel cleaner. In addition, you need an elongated object. For example, use a pencil or screwdriver with a cloth around it. This way you can also remove all the dirt and grease around the wheel bolt.
2. Place the wheel nut covers over the wheel bolts with your fingers. Metal wheel nut covers will be a bit stiff to apply. The covers must fit well on the wheel bolts so that they cannot just fall off. With plastic wheel nut covers this will be easier because the material is more flexible.
3. Slide the covers over the bolts as far as possible. If necessary, you can carefully tap the covers on the last part with a hammer. Make sure you put a cloth or piece of wood in between to prevent you from tapping the covers.
